The NGJF is a showcase for local and regional educational jazz groups to perform for audiences and build community with each other. During the festival, 18 different ensembles + our 2 featured ensembles will have the opportunity to perform for each other and the community and receive professional recordings, while also networking with other schools, local and regional colleges, and vendors. The festival will be a great time for the entire city, and is open to everyone to come enjoy fantastic jazz music! Be sure to stay all day, as there will be food trucks, and fun for the whole family. There will also be a featured guest ensemble - the professional Atlanta Lab Band.

FEATURED PERFORMANCES: 7:00-9:30PM

North Gwinnett Big Band (Brandon Soloff, Director) returns to the Bowl after recently being awarded the Most Outstanding HS Jazz Band at the University of North Carolina Essentially Ellington Regional and a performance at the 2025 Georgia Music Educators Association In-Service Conference. They will perform music ranging from Duke Ellington and Count Basie to music from Super Mario 64! It will be a show you won’t want to miss!

Atlanta Lab Band (Devin Witt, Director) features some of Atlanta and the Southeast’s top jazz musicians.
